The Pastoral Leadership and Mission of Grace Church

Through the ministry of Rev. Robert M. Encalade, Lead Pastor, and Gary Bradberry, Care Pastor, Grace Church exists to love God wholeheartedly and love people selflessly, fulfilling Christ’s greatest commandments in all we do.

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37–39

Rev. Robert M. Encalade is a man of the Word, licensed through the Louisiana District of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). As Lead Pastor, he is dedicated to preaching and teaching the truth of God’s Word with clarity and conviction. His leadership is marked by vision, biblical depth, and a steadfast commitment to guiding believers into a life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Gary Bradberry serves as Care Pastor, a man of compassion whose heart is to love people to Jesus. His ministry reflects the heart of the Good Shepherd—caring for the broken, comforting the hurting, and walking alongside those in need. Through his gentle spirit and unwavering faith, he demonstrates the love of Christ in tangible, everyday ways.

Both Robert and Gary were born and raised in Grand Isle, where their friendship was forged in the close-knit island community they now serve. Though life led them on different paths for a time, God, in His perfect plan, called them back together under a shared mission—to see revival, restoration, and transformation come to the people of Grand Isle through the power of Jesus Christ.

Together, they embody the vision of Grace Church: to be a place where grace restores, truth transforms, and love reaches every heart.
